SGA Opt Out Instructions
SGA Fees
- Sticker Fee | $7.00 (Fall & Spring), $3.00 (Summer)
- Student Representation Fee | $2.00
SGA Fees are charged via an opt out process. Students who do not opt out of either or both of the SGA Fees before registering for classes will be automatically charged the fee(s).
You may decline SGA fees by doing the following in your Self-Service account.
- Log in to your MSJC Self-Service Account
- Under the User Options menu on the left column, click on Required Agreements.
- Click on the View link for the Student Rep Fee/Student Gvernment Association Fee agreement.

Select Decline
If you would like to request a refund for either or both fees, requests are only accepted within the first two weeks of the semester. To request a refund, please submit the SGA Fee(s) Refund Request Form.
Once your SGA sticker is adhered to your student ID, you cannot obtain a refund for the SGA Fee. The SGA sticker must be returned to the Student Life Office at time of SGA Fee refund request submission.
If you opted out of either or both fees and would like them added, this can be done at any time during the semester. To add a fee, please visit the Student Life Office at any of our campus locations.
