The Search for MSJC's 8th Superintendent/President

Following the announced retirement of our long-term successful president, Dr. Roger Schultz, the Board of Trustees of Mt. San Jacinto College in California has begun a national search for the District's next Superintendent/President. The Board is seeking an experienced and visionary educational leader and administrator who understands and is passionate about the community college mission.
The President will have the opportunity to build on the District's reputation for excellence in student success and service to the communities it serves. The President also will face the positive challenge of booming enrollments that require the skillful acquisition and management of fiscal resources and community partnerships throughout a large geographical area.
The target date for receipt of applications is March 2, 2026. The start date for the new Superintendent/President will be July 1, 2026, or as negotiated.
