Colleagues,

I am glad to report that the superintendent/president search process is moving forward. The webpage dedicated to this process can now be found at msjc.edu/presidentialsearch.

This site provides everything you need to know about the process, including the position profile (requirements and ideal characteristics), timeline, and application instructions. Updates will be posted here as new information becomes available.

I would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Andrea Pasolini and the public information and marketing team for creating such a wonderful webpage, which will play a key role in promoting this search. I also want to thank the large number of you who contributed to the development of the profile by sharing your thoughts and ideas. The final profile reflects the current and future challenges facing the district, as well as the personal and professional qualities identified as essential for the next superintendent/president’s success.

We are now in the process of finalizing the Search Committee. I’m working with faculty and classified constituent leaders to confirm their representatives, and I will appoint additional members from the confidential/supervisory, administration, and community groups. Once complete, the full committee list will be posted on the webpage.
