Steps to Enroll
The First Year Experience Program (FYE) is dedicated to supporting the successful academic and college transition of new students joining Mt. San Jacinto College. To receive benefits and to be a part of the First Year Experience Program you will need to complete the following steps listed below.

Step One: Apply to MSJC and complete the New Student Enrollment Steps

Step Two: Attend a First Semester Planning Session
At the First-Semester Planning Session, Counseling will provide you with your first semester of classes for your educational plan, identify the math/English courses right for you, learn about resources, and identify your next steps.
Step Three: Complete the FYE Interest Form
The FYE Interest Form must have been completed by August 21st, 2023, to receive early registration for Spring 2024. Interest Forms submitted prior to May 31, 2023, would have received early registration for Fall 2023 and Spring 2024.

Step Four: Sign Up and Attend Summer Bridge
Students interested in the FYE Program are strongly encouraged to attend Summer Bridge, please review the list of dates and times on our Summer Bridge tab.
Update (8/22/2023): Summer Bridge is now closed for the 2023-2024 school year.
Step Five: Receive the FYE acceptance email and begin your JOURNEY!
Once a student is admitted into the FYE program, they can access benefits such as early registration, FYE navigators, workshops, and so much more!
