The First Year Experience Program hosts FREE events and workshops throughout the academic school year as a tool for its students. These workshops are to introduce students to the expectations of higher education and empower them to discover their academic and personal goals.

Join us for a heartwarming celebration of Valentine's Day at our Valentine’s Day Social. Our outdoor tabling event promises a day filled with love, laughter, and delightful activities for everyone.
Get ready to enjoy music, indulge in sweet treats, and participate in fun games and activities. Express your creativity at our Valentine's Day card-making station or strike a pose at our themed photo booth. Engage in conversations between fellow students and FYE Staff members.

The First Year Experience Program would like to get you ready for mid-terms and also connect you with your fellow peers to not only get ready for your upcoming exams but on how to perform best practices that will ensure success during an hour-long workshop.

Yes, the workshops will be recorded and can be accessed via this webpage, located on the left-hand side under Recorded Workshops.
To prepare for our virtual workshops, we recommend you access the zoom link in a quiet space and log in at least 5 minutes prior to the start time. To prepare for our in-person workshops, it is recommended to arrive 5 minutes prior to the start time. It is also encouraged for you to bring a pencil and paper for any notes or questions you may have for attending both a virtual and in-person workshop.
