Events and Workshops
The First Year Experience Program hosts FREE events and workshops throughout the academic school year as a tool for its students. These workshops are to introduce students to the expectations of higher education and empower them to discover their academic and personal goals.
The following events and workshops listed below will be offered during the Fall 2023 semester, please review the links below each events date and time to register for a workshop or RSVP for an event.
During Welcome week students will have the opportunity to check out the FYE spaces located at the San Jacinto campus and Menifee Valley Campus, receive important program information, meet and check-in with an FYE Navigator, and receive free goodies!

The First Year Experience Program wants to get YOU ready for Fall 2023 by showing you how to register for courses within Self-Service. The FYE Navigators will be offering hour long workshops that will allow YOU to learn the process of registering while breaking down other important areas within Self-Service.

Come join us for the FYE Fall 2023 Cohort Photo at Mt. San Jacinto College! This is your chance to capture memories with your fellow first-year students and celebrate the start of your college journey together.
This in-person event is a fantastic opportunity to meet new friends, connect with your cohort, and make lasting memories. As first year college students, this photo will be a cherished reminder of your first semester at Mt. San Jacinto College.
Free lunch and beverages will be provided on a first come first serve basis! You can also get a chance to win prizes by participating in a raffle during this event.

Frequently Asked Questions about FYE Events and Workshops
The list of events and workshops for the Fall 2023 semester are now available. Be sure to sign up for the various workshops and events by using the links provided!
Unfortunately, the workshops will not be recorded to protect the privacy of students, however, for our FYE students, they will be emailed documents from the workshop to review at the conclusion of the workshop.
To prepare for our workshops, we recommend you access the zoom link in a quiet space and log in at least 5 minutes prior to the start. It is also encouraged for you to bring a pencil and paper for any notes or questions you may have.
After that, get ready to have some fun and we look forward to seeing you eagle!
