TEDS Advisory Committees
Advisory Committees play an integral role in developing and revising programs for the Teacher Education and Developmental Studies program at MSJC. The department depends upon the committee members to share their ideas about the skills and knowledge that students will need to succeed in today's job market.
The key goal for advisory committees is to better prepare students for careers in the early childhood education field by promoting a greater cooperation between the educational environment and community. The committees also ensure that our Child Development and Education programs are of high quality and the educational system is more responsive to the job market.
Advisory committee members have been chosen for their knowledge, skill, and experience in the field of early childhood education. Advisory members include representation from our MSJC students, faculty and administration as well as local preschool programs, K12 programs and higher educational institutions. The advisory committee is essential to the ongoing success and sustainability of our programs.
