Board Resolution opposing SDG&E's proposed Golden Pacific Powerlink project

On June 25, 2026, The Board of Trustees of Mt. San Jacinto Community College District passed a resolution opposing SDG&E's proposed Golden Pacific Powerlink project because of its potential impacts on the college's Temecula campus, students, employees, and the surrounding communities it serves.

MSJC is committed to working with local governments, educational institutions, businesses, community organizations, Tribal partners, and residents advocating against the proposed route and to support all appropriate efforts to protect public safety, educational access, environmental resources, and the long-term economic vitality and quality of life of the region.
