MENTAL HEALTH APPOINTMENTS via email or phone at 951-465-8371 to schedule in-person or remote telehealth appointments.
Depending on the size of the emergency, Campus Safety and/or Riverside Sheriff’s may establish an incident command center and (if needed) an emergency operations center. Incident command is generally located on the site of the emergency site and emergency operations center (any location) will contain the planning, operations, financial, and logistic decisions for the emergency. Emergencies usually start with Campus Safety/RSO. The Director of Campus Safety will often be the first incident commander (IC) at the emergency operation center (EOC) until relieved. The Incident Command may be given to the campus safety supervisor on site with an upline command structure to the Campus Safety Director or other MSJC administrator, or law enforcement. In a full-scale emergency, the emergency operations center will contain Administrators/Supervisors who will handle various roles in an emergency. The entire emergency may also be turned over to Riverside Sheriff and their incident command. Emergencies are quick and fluid where information is rapid. Decisions are made based on incoming information in real time. The Public Information Officer will be the one to coordinate mass communication. With no communications, MSJC EOC/IC will rely on Building Captains and Commanders, Supervisors, and Administrators to form teams to relay information to personnel.
