Mads Irving created her piece in tribute to her ongoing recovery from two sexual assaults and in order to stand in solidarity with those who have been subject to the same experiences. She wears all denim in order to contribute to "Denim Day" a day set aside to create awareness about rape and sexual assault. She urges you to find out more about Denim Day and why it's important!
