Three Fierce Friends

This piece is a trio created by three intense personalities with a fiery passion for dance, which made for an interesting process. At first, we had no idea what song we wanted to use because we had so many different ideas. We are all fundamentally different in our own beautiful ways. Finally, one day, it hit us. We all realized we love getting down to the song "7 Rings" by Arianna Grande. It's a song that expresses confidence, willpower, intelligence, friendship, unity, but most importantly, self-love, and that's exactly what this piece is about! We are three unique friends living in the moment and expressing our individuality. This piece was developed for the intermediate jazz dance class and dance concert during the Covid-19 crisis.

Geoanni (Geo) Gurrola is a Latin American dancer brought up in Southern California.  At an early age, his passion for the arts was very clear, starting with singing and acting.  Later in life, while not unfamiliar with it, he stumbled into a dance class and has since continued to follow the path of becoming a dance professional.

Hello, my name is Norine Myers.  I wasn't always a dancer.  I have performed in musicals, plays and dance productions in high school.  It wasn't until college that I became a dance major.  I've been given the opportunities to choreograph at MSJC and a couple elementary schools as a dance instructor.  My journey so far has been amazing, and it continues...
