Submission Guidelines

Fashion Submissions

Individual designers, community artists college and high school students are invited to submit fashion designs for inclusion in this year's runway event. Designs are selected based on innovative use of repurposed waste material, originality and expression. 

Runway models span a range of real body types and include the young and young-at-heart, dancers, theatrical performers, artists and professional designers and models.  Fashion designs range from the beautiful and whimsical to the wildly dramatic. These runway fashions raise awareness of environmental and humanitarian concerns, celebrate diverse ethnic traditions and uniquely fantastic visions.

Submission Guidelines

Fashions must be original designs made from 50% or more repurposed, re-used or recycled materials; old, unused and thrift-store materials apply. 

Event Awards

At the event designs are judged for awards based on: innovative use of repurposed waste material, original design, expression, craftsmanship and model presentation.
