Recycled Art & Fashion

Mission

The Recycled Art & Fashion Show is a community event celebrating art and ecology. Arts professionals, MSJC College Students and individual students from area high schools join together to present diverse and wildly creative, ecology-minded art and fashion designs. The event promotes innovative re-purposing of consumer waste and raises environmental awareness with an exciting runway show and visual art display. All proceeds support Mt. San Jacinto College student scholarships and student/community events.

Description

The Recycled Art & Fashion Show had its inaugural presentation in 2012 and continues to showcase outstanding creative talents of local artists and Mt. San Jacinto College students. Individual student models and designers from Western Center Academy, Idyllwild Arts Academy, Great Oak and Chaparral High Schools have shared the runway with college students and fashion professionals.
