MSJC partners with Organizations for Youth Entrepreneurship Program
12/21/2022
Mt. San Jacinto College (MSJC) Contract & Community Education was proud to partner with Riverside County and California Family Life Center for the inaugural not-for-credit Youth Entrepreneurship Program.
Teens from the California Family Life Center who participated in the Youth Entrepreneurship Program were trained in how to start their own businesses.
Upon completion of the full-term class, the young entrepreneurs were then invited to participate in a “Shark Tank” style event at the Youth Opportunity Center in Hemet on Thursday, December 15, 2022.
Just like the show, they were given an opportunity to pitch their entrepreneurial ideas to a panel of judges who provided them with feedback.
The participants took home a certificate of completion and a $115 scholarship from MSJC Contract & Community Education partner ed2go to take a not-for-credit personal/professional development course to complement what they learned from the program.
