Appointments for Moderna Vaccine Available at MVC on Thursday

The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine will be available to the public from 9 AM to Noon Thursday at the Menifee Valley Campus.

The vaccines will be given on a first-come, first-served basis via online registration only. All adults are now eligible for the vaccines, however you must be at least 18 years old to receive the Moderna vaccine.

The Moderna vaccine will be administered at:

  • The Menifee Valley Campus Student Health Center, 28237 La Piedra Road, Menifee, on Thursday. Register online, choose the Moderna vaccine and then choose the available appointment.

Those who get a second dose of the Moderna vaccine must wait at least 28 days following the first dose.
If there are no appointments, you can add your name to the waitlist online for a callback if there are cancellations. Waitlisted people may get called the day before or even the day of for last-minute cancellations or no-show appointments.

MSJC received the doses from the state and continues to ask for more.

The vaccine is available only to those who have: 

  • not tested positive for COVID-19 in the past three months.
  • no cold, flu or COVID-19 symptoms.
  • no fever. 

You will be screened as you register and again when you enter the building for the vaccine.
