Air Quality Update and Menifee Valley Campus Closure

Dear MSJC Students,

We want to inform you that the air quality surrounding the Menifee Valley Campus (MVC) has significantly deteriorated due to the winds. As of this morning, it is marked as Hazardous. Meanwhile, the Temecula Valley (TVC) and San Jacinto (SJC) campuses are still in the Moderate range. The information can be followed at the AMQD site.

Based on this information, the following decisions have been made:

MVC will be closed today due to public health and safety concerns. For in-person classes, faculty may contact you via email to provide alternative activities. Any in-class exams or graded work should be postponed to a later date.
TVC and SJC remain unaffected and will continue with indoor classes and activities as scheduled.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as necessary. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility.
