2023 Year-End Message from the Superintendent/President

Dear Eagles,

As we approach the end of the 2022-2023 academic year, I want to share my observations of you, our Mt. San Jacinto College students. You are determined, creative and bright. You have truly made a difference on our campuses and in shaping your own futures and I thank you for choosing MSJC to achieve your educational goals.

I look forward to seeing those of you who are among the Class of 2023 at one of our two commencement ceremonies at Pechanga Resort Casino on Thursday, May 25. Remember our theme “Together: we dream, we learn, we transform” as you embark on your life journey.

To those of you who are returning to MSJC to complete your education, I want you to know we are here, ready to support you and help you achieve your goals. Our flexible schedule options, including online and in-person courses, ensure that your education fits your lifestyle.

I am excited about the new Kinesiology and Athletics Complex at the Menifee Valley Campus opening this Fall 2023. The complex is home to our new 5,000-seat stadium and will offer kinesiology and other courses students need to complete their educational journeys. Whether you return or are graduating, we invite you to one of the many events and games that will be held at this new complex.

I hope that you take some time off to relax and recharge. If you are taking summer courses, I encourage you to find time for self-care.

To graduates: Congratulations on your achievements and I wish you continued success. To our returning students, I look forward to seeing you on our campuses again soon.
