MSJC Earns Military Friendly School Honor
Mt. San Jacinto College (MSJC) was named a Military Friendly School for 2021-2022 with a “silver” distinction, a high honor that only a select group of institutions achieve.
Now in its 12th year, the Military Friendly Schools list has come to set the standard for higher education institutions to provide the best opportunities for veterans and their dependents.
Military Friendly is the designation that measures a school’s commitment to student veteran and dependent recruitment, persistence, and success. Institutions were evaluated using both public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey completed by MSJC.
This year, about 750 schools earned the prestigious Military Friendly designation. The list can be found at www.militaryfriendly.com
Military students at MSJC benefit from an array of college-wide support services, including the MSJC Veterans Resource Center. The college's Menifee Valley and San Jacinto campuses, which are currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, each feature Veterans Resource Centers to support the transition and success of MSJC military students.
