MSJC Mobile Career Center Unveiled
The Mt. San Jacinto College Career Education Office proudly unveiled its new MSJC Mobile Career Center on Tuesday, February 12, at its Menifee Valley Campus.
An event previously scheduled for February 14 at the San Jacinto Campus was rescheduled for March 14.
Featuring 14 computer stations and an interview station, the Mobile Career Center will visit schools and job fairs, participate in community parades, and provide community workshops such as resume writing and interview skills. College officials will also collaborate with local agencies such as the Economic Development Coalition to attend various regional conferences, meetings and trade shows.
“Whether you’re at Mt. San Jacinto College to get a certificate, upgrade your skills or start a new career, MSJC Career Education is here to help you succeed,” said Joyce Johnson, Executive Dean of Instruction.
“The Mobile Career Center is a logical next step that enables us to send our knowledgeable resources out into our communities to help people further their education or prepare to land their next job. MSJC will be there to help them succeed and thrive in today’s workforce.”
The Strong Workforce Program provided about $300,000 in funding for the Mobile Career Center.
