MSJC Celebrates President’s Honor Roll Students at Menifee Valley Campus

Mt. San Jacinto College (MSJC) celebrated the academic achievements of more than 2,000 students who qualified for the President’s Honor Roll during a reception on September 9 at the Menifee Valley Campus.

To earn a place on the President’s Honor Roll, students must be enrolled in 12 or more units and maintain a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher—an accomplishment that reflects their commitment, perseverance, and dedication to their education.

Students and their families came together to celebrate the milestone, filling the event with enthusiasm and pride as honorees were recognized for their academic success. The celebration also marked the first President’s Honor Roll recognition for Dr. Tawny Dotson as MSJC Superintendent/President.

MSJC Trustee Calvin Smith and Vice President of Instruction Jeremy Brown greeted and congratulated students during the ceremony. Smith said the excitement among students and their families demonstrated how meaningful their accomplishments were, not only to the students themselves but also to those who have supported them along the way.

“You could see the pride on the faces of our students and their families and feel their enthusiasm throughout the celebration,” Smith said. “These students have worked incredibly hard to reach this milestone, and their success is also evidence that the educational system we have built at MSJC is working and helping our students achieve their goals.”

MSJC congratulates all President’s Honor Roll students and celebrates the hard work, determination, and support from family, friends, faculty, and staff that helped make their achievements possible.
