MSJC Adopts 2020-2021 Budget

The Mt. San Jacinto Community College District Board of Trustees unanimously adopted a 2020-2021 Budget during its meeting on Thursday, Oct. 8.
The 2020-2021 Total Adopted Budget All Funds is $360,120,945.
Moving forward, the college will continue to monitor state and federal revenue projections and recommend budget strategies to reflect the current economic recession due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The State of California budget agreement in June maintained 2019-2020 spending levels for Strong Workforce, K-12 Strong Workforce, Adult Education, and Student Equity and Achievement programs in which MSJC participates.
The MSJC Board of Trustees had adopted a tentative budget on June 25.
Mt. San Jacinto College serves about 27,000 students in a district covering 1,700 square miles from the San Gorgonio Pass to Temecula, with campuses in San Jacinto, Menifee, Banning and Temecula. MSJC celebrated its largest graduating class in May 2020, awarding a record-breaking 3,415 degrees and certificates to 1,892 graduates.
