MSJC Invites Students, Public to Online MLK Celebration Event
Mt. San Jacinto College (MSJC) invites students and the public to its 15th annual Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration at 8 AM Wednesday, Jan. 27. This year, the event will be held online.
The all-day virtual event -- "A Day Celebrating the Life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr." -- ends at 5 PM, but attendees are encouraged to drop in on the Zoom event whenever they can. Online registration is required.
MSJC UMOJA will celebrate the life and contributions that Dr. King continues to make to the conscious of a nation and world, as we continue to battle for the civil and human rights of all people.
Guests may sign into the Zoom any time during the event. The link will be available all day. View speeches, historical events, documentaries, and interviews from Dr. King’s life.
The annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration at MSJC aims to ensure the message and work of Dr. King to promote equity and social justice is remembered.
Mt. San Jacinto College serves about 27,000 students in a district covering 1,700
square miles from the San Gorgonio Pass to Temecula, with campuses in San Jacinto,
Menifee, Banning and Temecula. Spring classes begin Jan. 19.
