Adult Education Students Celebrate New Beginnings at MSJC GED Graduation Ceremony
6/3/2026
On the evening of Thursday, May 28, Mt. San Jacinto College celebrated the achievements of 70 Adult Education students who successfully completed their General Educational Development (GED) requirements during the annual GED Graduation Ceremony.
Held in front of proud family members, friends, faculty, and staff, the ceremony recognized the determination, resilience, and hard work of graduates who reached this important educational milestone through MSJC’s Adult Education program.
MSJC Board Trustee Calvin Smith joined graduates in celebrating their accomplishments and future aspirations.

Student keynote speakers Jenny Hall and Liliana Melgar delivered inspiring messages reflecting on the challenges they overcame, the support they received along the way, and the opportunities now ahead of them.
Throughout the evening, graduates crossed the stage to receive recognition for completing
a milestone that opens new pathways toward higher education, workforce advancement,
and personal achievement.
MSJC’s Adult Education programs provide opportunities for students to earn high school
equivalency credentials, improve workforce readiness, and pursue educational pathways
that support long-term success.
For many graduates, the evening marked not an ending, but the beginning of a new chapter.
