Biological Connections to the Living World
I will be exploring how the structure and function of all life on this planet is connected. I will also speak to how those delicate connections are disrupted, both knowingly and unknowingly, through pollution. Specifically, I will highlight how the pollution of our water ways and the lack of raw sewage regulation presents a clear and present danger to human health that extends far beyond a typical message regarding infectious diseases and ultimately, conservation. Pollution robs people of the opportunity to connect with the living world around them.
