Honors Museum Field Trip
San Diego Natural History Museum
Saturday, November 14th
10:00 a.m.

The Honors Enrichment Program is sponsoring a field trip to the San Diego Natural History Museum on Saturday, November 14th. We will be visiting the "Darwin: Evolution, Revolution" exhibit that showcases the life and work of Charles Darwin, the biologist whose revolutionary theories on natural selection and evolution changed the face of science forever.

In addition to Darwin's own manuscripts, notebooks, letters, artworks, and personal objects, the exhibition also features fossils, taxidermy mounts, and living specimens. The exhibit is in commemoration of the 200th anniversary of Darwin's birth and the 150th anniversary of the publishing of On the Origin of Species.

Honors students and their friends, family, and fellow students are all welcome. We will be meeting at the south entrance of the museum by the big fountain at 10:00 a.m.  The museum is located at 1788 El Prado in Balboa Park, San Diego.  Visit www.sdnhm.org for directions and further information about the exhibition.  The cost is $11.00 with student ID.

Please RSVP Erik Ozolins at eozolins@msjc.edu (951-639-5725) or Christina Yamanaka at cyamanaka@msjc.edu (951-487-3522) if you would like to attend.
