The Business Administration program is designed to prepare students to manage all aspects of industry operations. The course studies offer training for employment or career advancement which can lead to business certificates and associate or higher degrees.
Business Administration — Two-Year, 60 units
This program provides an overview of business topics for administrators and managers in policy making, planning and coordination.
Business Administration/Small Business Operations
Studies include small business entrepreneurship, planning, marketing, management, communication, personnel management, human relations, accounting, understanding financial statements, economics, computers and data processing.
Studies include the principles of financial accounting and introduces the basic structure of corporate financial accounting. Includes studies in managerial accounting, costing, overhead, budgeting, cash flow and decision making.
Federal and California Income Tax Accounting
Teaches students to prepare individual income tax returns.
Designed to develop managerial skills in directing departmental activities such as organizing operations and managing supervisory personnel
Courses provide skills to assure success for the individual planning to manage a small business
Completion of accounting course requirements qualifies students to be recognized as certified tax preparers by California Tax Education Council
