Q: Why should I join the STEM Program if STEM Activtities are open to all students?

A: The STEM Program will help you gain increased focus, direction, and confidence.  It will help you build long-lasting relationships, make connections with potential employers and transfer institutions, improve your chances of getting internships, and create an impressive resume/portfolio.  Being a part of this program supports you on the path to achieving your educational dreams. Q: How do I join the STEM Program?

A: To join the STEM Program, you need to attend a STEM Program Orientation.  To see the list of orientation dates and times, click on the link on the left or visit the Counseling office for a flyer.


Q: Are the STEM Program and STEM Club different?  

A: Yes, they are two separate groups.


Q: How are the STEM Program and STEM Club different?

A: The STEM Program is a grant funded program that provides support and services to STEM students.  The program includes Coordinators  and STEM specified Counselors.  To join the program, you will need to attend an orientation (click on the link on the left).  The STEM Club brings together students who share an interest in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).  The STEM Club meets to discuss new ways to get involved in the college and organize STEM related fundraising events.  The STEM Program and the STEM Club do work together throughout the year.
