San Jacinto Campus Spring Concerts
The Mt. San Jacinto College Dance Department presents The Spring Studio Showing.
The Spring Studio Showing will showcase an eclectic array of works-in-progress from the San Jacinto Campus dance students on Wednesday, May 13th at 7pm, in the Dance Studio Theatre, rm. 1952 (up the stairs outside of the gymnasium by the tennis courts.)

Mt. San Jacinto College’s Concert Band will play works written for concert bands and also perform popular music medleys on Tuesday, May 17th at 7:30pm in the Theatre on the San Jacinto Campus located at 1499 N. State St., San Jacinto, 92583.
The performance is presented by the Performing Arts Department in conjunction with Community Education, and is directed by Robert Waner.

The Golden Eagle Big Band presents “The Best of the Big Bands” on Sunday, May 15th at 2:30pm in the Theatre on the San Jacinto Campus, 1499 N. State Street, San Jacinto, 92583.
Produced by the MSJC Performing Arts Department in conjunction with Community Education and directed by Bob Waner, this performance features two 16-piece big bands and showcases many band soloists and outstanding guest artist Jasmin White from West Valley High School on bass and vocals.
This concert features big band jazz at its best! Highlights of the performance will be familiar tunes such as “Embraceable You”, “It Don’t Mean a Thing if it Ain’t Got That Swing”, “Yardbird Suite”, “How High The Moon”, and many others. Jasmin will be singing some familiar jazz standards with each of the big bands.

The Inland Chorale will hold its spring concert on Saturday May 21st at 3pm in the San Jacinto Campus Theatre and on Sunday May 22nd at 3pm at the First Southern Baptist Church, located at 433 S. San Jacinto Street in Hemet. The performances will include the best repertoire from classical to folk and from sacred to popular chorale music. General admission for both concerts is $8.00
Menifee Valley Campus Spring Concerts
Friday evening, May 13, at 7:30 p.m., the music department will present a Student Showcase. This one night only show features soloists on guitar, piano and voice as they present their musical renditions demonstrating their growth throughout the semester.
The Student Showcase is $5.00/$4.00 with ASB card.
Closing out the week on Saturday and Sunday, May 14 and 15 will be the College Singers with musical director Shawn Valcarcel conducting. Saturday’s program is at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday’s program is at 2:30 p.m. This show features a wide variety of musical styles, including an original piece using the text of a Native American prayer.
General admission is $8.00/$7.00 with ASB card.
