MSJC will be conducting Wind and Solar Workshops in Hemet June 20 and 27

MSJC will be conducting Solar and Wind Workshops for Hemet Unified School District students to help provide awareness of “green” technology careers in renewable energy, a growing and innovative field.
 
Students entering 9th grade in the fall will have priority registration. Middle School students entering 8th grade in the fall will be enrolled as space permits.
 
Students will be exposed to solar, wind energy, and electricity fundamentals and to the MSJC Solar/Wind/Manufacturing Employee Concentration Certificates. Students will make a solar thermal oven, produce solar electricity and a windmill that will produce electricity and lift weight.
 
The Wind Energy Workshops: M-Th, June 20-23rd, 8am-12pm
The Solar Energy Workshops: M-Th, June 27-30th, 8am-12pm
