Fourth Annual FAVE Awards Screening and Ceremony

On Friday, May 13th, 2011, from 8am – 1pm, it will be time again for MSJC’s FAVE Awards. For the fourth year, Mt. San Jacinto College will celebrate the creative work of high school and middle school students in the areas of video, animation and art. These students have entries in the Festival of Animation and Video Entertainment (FAVE), an annual event.

A public premiere screening of the students’ work begins at 8:30am. At 10am, after a stroll along the red carpet, in room 927 of the technology building on the Menifee Valley campus, the awards ceremony will commence. The public and the entrants in the festival competition can see the winners and the presentation of trophies. In addition, MSJC FAVE Club will announce and award the winner of the $300.00 scholarship competition “My Future in Multimedia.”

The many activities of MSJC FAVE and the FAVE Awards are underwritten through a grant provided by the State of California. They are free to everyone. These events are also great opportunities for students and parents to learn about all the learning opportunities available at Mt. San Jacinto College.
