Nursing and Allied Health

Effective Spring 2022

All students applying for Nursing, DMS and MA are required to have proof of completed COVID-19 vaccine and booster. This is a requirement to enter clinical facilities while taking Nursing and Allied Health classes at MSJC. Students seeking disability accommodations should contact the College’s Accommodation Service Center.

Welcome to the MSJC School of Nursing & Allied Health Department website. This is your one-stop source for information on all of the department programs at MSJC. Here is a brief overview to acquaint you with the programs.

For inquiries regarding eligibility to any of our programs please schedule an appointment with a Health and Wellness Pathway Counselor by visiting this Cranium Cafe page.

All Nursing and Allied Health degrees, certificates, and employment concentrations available are covered in detail in the MSJC Catalog, which includes a description of the Associate Degree in Nursing Program.

Allied Health programs at MSJC offer several career options in the healthcare field. Several career fields can be entered with very short preparation. For instance, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Fire Technology (FT), and the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Programs take a qualified applicant only one semester to complete.
