COMMUNITY & BUSINESS

Allied Health programs at MSJC offers several career options in the health field, ranging from emergency medical technician through nursing. An interested student might want to begin with Survey of Health Occupations, which describes
many careers available in the health field. Several careers can be entered with a very short preparation. For instance, the Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide (CNA/HHA) and the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Programs take a qualified applicant only one semester to complete.

Nursing programs take longer to complete, but bring with them the benefits and challenges of a rapidly changing profession.

All Nursing and Allied Health degrees, certificates, and employment concentrations available are covered in detail in the MSJC catalog, both in print and online, including a description of the Associate Degree in Nursing Program.

For information about each of our programs select from the links to the left.
