MSJC > Jeremy Brown

Associate Professor & Chair of Music; Jazz Ensemble Director

Jeremy Brown with drums

Dr. Jeremy Brown has been teaching at MSJC since 2007.

He directs the Menifee Jazz Ensemble, a modern jazz group comprised of MSJC students and community members.  The band performs contemporary and Latin arrangements of jazz standards, songs, and original compositions.  Call Jeremy at 639-5665 to audition.

After doctoral studies and years of professional music performance in Austin, Texas, Jeremy moved to Southern California to continue playing and teaching music. Primarily a jazz drummer and classical percussionist, he has performed and recorded music in many genres and categories including small group and big band jazz, rock & roll, classical, blues, funk, world music, and avant garde. A busy performer and composer, catch the Jeremy Brown Quartet playing around town.
