Institutional Planning and Effectiveness

The Office of Institutional Planning and Effectiveness supports the planning and decision-making efforts throughout the District by providing data and information for managing and maintaining the quality and effectiveness and encouraging continuous improvement of academic programs, academic and student support services, and administrative services. The office also provides information that is mandated by external accrediting agencies and legislative bodies and serves as a primary source for information on institutional effectiveness at Mt. San Jacinto College.

This video was developed to briefly explain the student learning outcome (SLO) and assessment process as it applies to courses. There are links below the video to a visual aid as well as a glossary of terms as defined by MSJC. There were no Ted Blakes or Ching Guus injured in the making of this video and all persons have given permission to be used and/or mentioned by name in the video.

Planning and Institutional Effectiveness (PIE) Video #2

The purpose of this video is to briefly describe the role that classified and non-teaching staff have on students' learning at Mt. San Jacinto College.
