New Student - Information

To receive accommodations from DSPS you will need to:

STEP 1: Complete steps 1-7 of the enrollment process. Click here for the enrollment steps.
                    (If you need accommodations prior to taking your assessment tests, please come to the DSPS office. Please bring any                                 disability documentation with you.)
STEP 2: View the DSPS Student Online Orientation, CLICK HERE to view.​ Please also review the DSPS                        Student Handbook, CLICK HERE to view. 
STEP 3: Call DSPS to schedule your INTAKE counseling appointment.

​Once the Above has been completed, you will then complete STEP 4:

STEP 4:  Bring your disability documentation along with the DSPS Intake Packet (see below) on the day of your INTAKE appointment. DSPS will not accept paper work prior to your appointment.

If you feel you may need assistance filling out the forms or have any questions, please arrive 15 minutes early to your appointment.

  • Testing results or evaluation from high school with IEP (Individual Education Plan)
  • 504 Plan
  • Current Audiogram 
  • DD214
  • Psychological Exam/Testing 
  • Physical Exam 
  • LD Testing 
  • History from another college 
  • Eye exam from Ophthalmologist 


Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for all appointments.

Intake appointments will be 45 minutes. 
All other scheduled appointments will be 30 minutes or less.
