MSJC and the Instructor
MSJC provides
guidance for students, parents and high school/ROP staff regarding the Mt.
San Jacinto College procedures for the college and secondary articulation process. We have staff available to come to your school to provide a CTE presentation, distribute materials and provide assistance with the MSJC
student application.
The
Career Education Special Programs Office, formerly known as School-to-Career/Tech-Prep, manages the high school (2+2) articulation processes. The office has been designated as a resource to assist both
college faculty and high school or ROP staff in the development of requests to articulate high
school courses.
The process for establishing an articulation agreement for a high school or ROP course can be initiated by either
the community college faculty in the appropriate discipline or the staff of the high school or ROP course. The most productive method is for all parties to collaborate on the requests.

The
Career Education Special projects office facilitates group meetings as needed to bring high school/ROP and college faculty together for the review of curriculum and the development of requests to articulate courses.
Help Your Students Get Ahead
Your students’ extremely tight schedules restrict their options regarding elective courses. By articulating
courses in your career pathway, you offer students the opportunity to earn skills comparable to those of college students, better preparing them for the next level of education required for success in their career paths.
Help your students’ parents save money they would otherwise have to spend on
college tuition. Give parents the opportunity to give their children a start on a
college education while still
enrolled in high school. You want the best for your department and your school.
Articulation...
