13th Ranked Lady Eagels Fall at No. 4 SBVC

The MSJC women's basketball team led by as much as 8 points early in the second half, buttinacod.jpg couldn't hold on to the lead as they lost a Foothill Conference game at #4 ranked San Bernardino Valley 66-62.

The Lady Eagles who fell to 18-6 overall on the season led 30-29 at the half.  In the second half MSJC pushed lead out to 8 early, but a rally by the Wolverines closed the gap and the game was close the final 10 minutes of the game with neither team leading by more than 6 points.

Tina Fantroy led the MSJC offense with 25 points including 4 for 4 shooting from the three point line.  Ashley Jenkins added 12 points for the Lady Eagles.  Nicholle Reyna had 9 points and 5 rebounds in the loss.

MSJC plays at home twice this week.  Wednesday the Lady Eagles host Barstow at 5 pm and Saturday MSJC will play Rio Hondo at 1 pm.
