Hassante was a First Team All Coliseum League player in high school at Crenshaw High.  He played his freshman year of college basketball at San Bernardino Valley.  Hassante is a communications major who would like to become a sports agent after college.  He lists He Got Game as his favorite movie and his dream teammates include; Carmelo Anthony, Shaquille O'Neil, and LeBron James.
